Kilmersdon Play Park Consultation

It is inspiring to know that, thanks to local people £637.61 has been raised via crowd funding and over £5,000 in grant applications.  The Parish Council is now in a position to replace the trim trail, which recent inspections have shown to be suffering from rot.

Last month we consulted you on how you might feel about replacing the wooden trim trail with metal.  Whilst it will last longer, visually it will change the look of the play park.  Here are some pictures.

Please do let us know your thoughts by 19th July 2020 by emailing clerk@kilmersdonpc.co.uk

If there are no negative comments the Parish Council will look to order and install the new equipment.

Goalposts

Thanks to Cllr Nick Ham, arrangements are being put in place to move and stabilise the goalposts in the playing field and top soil / re-seed the bare patches.

See Saw

A replacement see saw is being arranged with thanks to Cllr Brian Nagel and should be installed shortly.

At the time of writing, the government regulations still require play parks to be kept closed.  Thank you to all for keeping this in mind.
