Summer 2021 has seen a number of changes to the play park. The installation of the new train
to replace the one which was rotting took place in July, with the rotting balance beams of the
trim trail being removed at the same time.
The new, longer zip wire was met with much enthusiasm in time for the summer holidays.
Whilst it passed its post installation inspection, we are waiting for the wire to be re-tensioned
to give a smoother ride!
Still to come at the play park, the large plastic slide on the multi play unit cracked and was
taken down. A quote for a replacement steel slide was sought and at its meeting in September
the Parish Council will decide whether to replace the slide at considerable cost, or seek funding
for a new multi play unit.
